Lexi Lyon has been creating portraits ever since she was little. Her parents made sure to support her and allow her to hone her skills with summer classes, art school tours, and a big bin of art supplies.
After dabbling in a few different creative fields, Lexi ended up studying Printmaking and Bookbinding at BYU where she received her Bachelor of Arts. Her studies taught her the value of process and experimentation.
Recently she has been experimenting with oils and painting mediums. Ranging from highly rendered fantasy portraits to stylized, textural spiritual pieces, she is elbow deep in oils and happily furthering her art education. Lexi currently apprentices for local artist and uncle, Howard Lyon.
